What inspired you to make fashion films?:
I always had a passion for looking fly and hip hop music. As the years went along and I started to pick up on fashion blogs new trends and looks from music videos etc.
While working within the music industry in NYC I fell into a videographer position for a local clothing brand “BGold NYC” through shooting their lifestyle videos and look book.
Shortly after came up with the idea to do 30 videos in 30 days documenting the lifestyle, shoots, castings and shows that models go through and live during men’s fashion week. A video a day for every event and issues facing each other and situation. People really caught on to the idea like the production and showed their support.
I developed a real passion for shooting fashion as well showing people my interpretation of shoots, shows and events.
Getting first show shoot published on Fiasco Magazine’s site. Getting shoot for Glorious Bastard picked up as iPad app for Paper Cut Magazine. Working as videographer for Ne-Yo. Shooting for Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dog, MMG (Rick Ross, Wale, Stalley), Kendrick Lamar, 1883 Magazin, WAD Paris, Elite London..
Plans for future?
Become in house videographer for fashion company with both online and print sources. Shoot women’s fashion week in September as well mens again in January. Establish my work in the UK as well as the states. Become that name that people think of when in need of a video and others emulate when editing.
Thoughts on London Fashion scene?
I like the fashion scene out here in London, the UK in general. It’s not like NYC isn’t stylish, we’re extremely “Wavey”. But some of the sexiest women I’ve seen are out here! And the designer threads with heavy accouterments are too sick.
